Description

A delicious and creamy casserole featuring cooked chicken and smoked sausage, perfect for a comforting dinner.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chopped chicken
  • ½ lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 (10 oz) can Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 2 Tbsp cajun seasoning (or to taste)
  • 1 (8 oz) container sour cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 (2 oz) can French fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a 9-inch dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cook smoked sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a large bowl, stir together cream of chicken soup, Cajun seasoning, and sour cream. Stir in cooked chopped chicken, smoked sausage, and grated parmesan cheese; season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture into a baking dish coated with cooking spray. Top with French-fried onions.
  5. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, until bubbly.
