Description
A delicious berry trifle made with layers of pound cake, fresh strawberries, mixed berries, and whipped cream.
Ingredients

- 6 cups pound cake cubed
- 3 cups fresh strawberries sliced
- 1 cup mixed berries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Cut pound cake into even bite sized cubes.
- Toss sliced strawberries with granulated sugar and let rest for 15 minutes.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Layer cake cubes in a trifle bowl and spoon strawberry juices over them.
- Add whipped cream and berries, then repeat layers until the bowl is full.
- Finish with whipped cream and fresh berries on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving for best texture.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh, ripe berries.
- Can substitute other fruits as desired.
