Description

This creamy shrimp dip is perfect for parties and gatherings. Serve it with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Chop the cooked shrimp into small pieces and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add shredded cheddar, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, lemon juice, hot sauce (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Fold in the shrimp gently until evenly distributed.
  5. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour, or transfer to a baking dish and heat at 350°F for 15 minutes for a warm version.
  6. Serve with crackers, toasted bread, or vegetables.

Notes

  • This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • If you prefer a warmer dip, baking it enhances the flavors!
