- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a large bowl and stir in both sugars until glossy.
- Add eggs one at a time, whisking after each, then stir in vanilla.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour into the pan, smooth the top, and bake for 30–35 minutes.
- Let cool completely in the pan before slicing into 16 squares.
Notes
- For extra fudginess, do not overbake the brownies.
- Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
