Description

A delicious and creamy herb dip perfect for serving with chips, vegetables, or as a spread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs of choice (chives, parsley, dill, etc.)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (more or less to taste)

Instructions

  1. Add 1 cup full-fat sour cream to a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs, and ¼ teaspoon salt to the bowl.
  3. Use a spoon or small whisk to stir everything together until the herbs and seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the sour cream.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the dip to an airtight container.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight is even better) to allow the flavors to develop.
  6. Before serving, taste the dip and adjust the seasoning if needed. Add more salt or extra herbs for more punch.
  7. Serve cold with your choice of chips, fresh vegetables, chicken wings, or use as a spread.

Notes

  • For best results, allow the dip to sit overnight to enhance the flavors.
